As some of you are already aware of, we are holding
one last production before the year ends–a “trivial” one (although trivial is relative to our other full productions). It’s our
“SLBP” – “Super Low Budget Production.” (Hopefully we won’t have need of *that* many of them!) We plan to have some of your fave Shakespearean characters zoom around on ice in… (drumroll)
Shakespeare on Ice!
It looks like the crowd wants to see (in order of most “votes”) Romeo, Juliet, MSND’s Mechanicals, Ophelia, Lady MacB, Shylock, Henry VIII, Katherina (TotS)
Interested? Not seen your fave Shakespearean character on the list? Help us plan our interim production. We’re about to finalize our “Shakespeare on Ice” characters — but still waiting for your input! Deadline: Dec 10 at 11:59 PST/SLT

(Incidentally, the Shakespeare sim landing point coordinates are determined via some interesting and revealing numerology.)

Although there are already a few structures already in their semi-permanent locations, by decree of numerical feng shui, the Shakespeare island sim landing point location is officially Shakespeare (158,103,46). Why?
Psalm 46 (KJV) is the Rosetta Stone of this casting:

- The word “Shake” is the 46th word (noninclusive) from the beginning of Psalm 46 and the word “Spear” is the 46th word (noninclusive) from the end of Psalm 46
- The word “Shake” is the 158th word (noninclusive) from the end of Psalm 46 and the word “Spear” is the 158th word (noninclusive) from the beginning of Psalm 46
- There are 111 words between the word Shake and Spear.
- Shake @ 0+46
- Spear @ T-46 (T is total number of words in Psalm 46)
- T=205 words… Difference is T – 92 – 2 (not counting for Shake and Spear)
- Shakespeare is 103 in Caeser Cipher using Bacon’s 24 letter alphabet prominent in Shakespeare’s days. Caesar Cipher (with 0 displacement) begins by assigning A=1, B=2, C=3, etc… But, the 24-letter archaic alphabet assigns the same “number” to the letters i&j and u&v, since these two are often used interchangeably, and Z=24.
- S=18, H=8, A=1, K=10, E=5, S=18, P=15, E=5, A=1, R=17, E=5
- Sum up the letters above to get 103
- (Don’t you feel kinda giddy?
)
Hats off to Robert Fowler Jr of “Light of Truth” for deducing this one!
